OPRA: Purchase invoice of body worn cameras for the police department
Dear Long Hill Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
1. Total number of body cameras currently deployed in the police department.
2. Date on which body cameras were deployed to any of the police officers for the first time (year and month).
3. Invoice of body cameras purchase (if body cameras were purchased).

In regards to the below OPRA Request I have the following documents:
1) Axon press release stating all officers were equipped on May 31, 2018.
This is the first issue date of any BWC.
2) Axon order form indicating a price of $0.00 because it was a trial period
with 26 BWC’s.
3) In May 2019, the Long Hill Township Police Department switched to
WatchGuard. The switch included the purchase of 11 BWC’s which the officers
share. The invoice for the BWC’s is attached.
