OPRA Abandoned/VACANT/Probate- Hudson
Dear Hoboken City,
I appreciate your consideration of the following matter. Under OPRA and the Common Law Right of Access, I am requesting a current list of records over the past 2 YEARS for each of the following be delivered via e-mail in EXCEL format:
1) All abandoned/vacant residential properties (Property Class 2)
2) All condemned properties
3) All residential properties with delinquent taxes
4) All residential properties for which a Lis Pendens notice has been filed or that are currently in probate
5) All properties that are absentee-owned
6) All properties with delinquent water and sewer which date back up to 1 year, including amounts owed
7) All properties currently listed with water shut-off notice
8) All properties with code violations, including the type of violation
9) All properties with notices of abatement
Again, I appreciate your attention to this matter and thank you in advance for your help.

Question # 1- Abandoned/Vacant, the City of Hoboken has no such list.
Question # 2-Condemned properties, the City of Hoboken has no such list.
Question # 3-Residential...delinquent Taxes, this will be forwarded to the Tax Collector (OPRA Log # 20-1008).
Question # 4-Lis Pendens...in probate, Probate are file with Hudson County (general contact number 201-795-6000) and not with the City of Hoboken.
Question # 5-Absentee owned, the City of Hoboken has no such list.
Question # 6-deliquent water and sewer, You need to contact Suez (water) and North Hudson Sewerage Authority (sewer) directly for the records. Suez email ([email address]) contact number is (800-422-5987). NHSA e-mail ([email address]) contact number is (201-963-6043).
Question # 7-water shut-off, You need to contact Suez, ([email address]) contact number is (800-422-5987).
Question # 8-properties code violation, the City of Hoboken has no such list.
Question # 9-notices of abatement, at this time this is denied, due to the Tax Collector Office requires what type of abatement before it can be process. Please resubmit T.Y..
