Open taxes, liens, code violation and utility shut off
Dear Metuchen Borough,

I never received your request...
I am forwarding your request to the appropriate departments now. The information that I can tell you is that Metuchen doesn't do any utility shut offs. The water is supplied through Middlesex Water Company and you would have to request shut offs from them. As for sewer- that is in the Borough's taxes and we do not do shut-offs. There may be a lien for non-payment of the taxes, but not directly for sewer.
As soon as I have a response from the departments, I will forward it to you.
Again, my apologies, but I am seeing this for the first time today.
