Common Law Right to Know Basis
In addition to OPRA, I am requesting these records under the New Jersey Common Law Right to Know. As an involved driver in this collision, I am a party in interest with a direct financial and legal interest in reviewing all physical, video, and audio evidence to establish property damage liability and coordinate insurance settlement claims. My interest in disclosure far outweighs any municipal interest in confidentiality, particularly as this involves a completed traffic accident investigation.
