Number of student workers by department on campus
Dear Rowan University,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

Number of students employed by Rowan University categorized by department. Preferably on a spreadsheet.

Good morning,
Rowan received your OPRA request on February 26, 2024 (below) wherein you sought a record of the "[n]umber of students employed by Rowan University categorized by department." Before Rowan can begin its response to your request, we need some more information. Please advise on the following:
1. If a student has more than one job, how do you want them counted, 1x?
2. Do you want all students, including work study, RAs, Graduate Assistants, etc?
3. Please confirm that you are only looking for the aggregate number and not any other information.
Currently, Rowan's response is due March 6, 2024 (7 business days from February 26, 2024). Please be advised that depending on when we hear back from you and the answers to the above needed clarifications, Rowan's response time may need to be extended. Once we have your response, we will be in a better position to advise of a more accurate response date.

Please accept this as Rowan's completed response to your February 26, 2024 OPRA request (below) wherein you a record of the "[n]umber of students employed by Rowan University categorized by department." After receiving some clarifications on the scope of your request, as discussed below, Rowan has been able to compile a response to your request which is attached. Rowan was able to break the numbers down by department and include the categories mentioned below. Some students work in more than one department; therefore, we've included the secondary assignments in the count.
I believe this is a full response to your OPRA request and Rowan will close this request unless you advise otherwise.
