Effective immediately, Brick Township will begin to adhere to N.J.S.A 39:4-131* and Chapter 338-6A(1) of the Brick Township Code* and charge $5.00 per Motor Vehicle Accident report for all requests that are not made in person (via mail, email, internet submissions or fax).

Therefore, for your request below for 18 Motor Vehicle Accident reports @ $5.00 per report, please submit to us a check in the amount of $90.00, payable to "Township of Brick", to the address below, prior to release.

* N.J.S.A. 39:4-131 "If copies of reports are requested other than in person, an additional fee up to $5.00 may be added to cover the administrative costs of the report.."

§ 338-6. Enumeration of fees and charges.

A. The following fees shall be charged for copies of public documents and records:
(1) Police reports: The fee shall be in accordance with the rates established by N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5, set forth in Subsection A(2) below. For police accident reports not requested in person, an additional fee of $5 shall be charged to cover the administrative costs of the report, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-131.
