Dear Mount Laurel Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

Laurel's response thereto of July 14, 2025.

3) Copies of email, text message, iMessage, SMS message, RCS message, and correspondences, including on personal devices, between deputy mayor Stephen Steglik and employee Meredith Riculfy for the time period of July 8, 2025 through July 14, 2025, relating to, and/or confirming the lack of responsive documents or call logs to, Transparency for ML's July 8, 2025 OPRA request and/or the Township of Mt. Laurel's response thereto of July 14, 2025.

Re: July 15, 2025 OPRA request

Dear Requestor:

Mount Laurel Township received your newest OPRA request dated July 15, 2025 and provides this timely denial to the request.

Your request in four parts seeks “Copies of email, text message, iMessage, SMS message, RCS message, and correspondences, including on personal devices, between mayor Nikitas Moustakas and employee Meredith Riculfy for the time period of July 8, 2025 through July 14, 2025, relating to, and/or confirming the lack of responsive documents or call logs to, Transparency for ML's July 8, 2025 OPRA request and/or the Township of Mt. Laurel's response thereto of July 14, 2025.” The next three parts of the request simply changed names.

There are no responsive documents. Due diligence was performed on the prior request by confirming with our IT consultant as well as the elected officials whether logs exist. The Township performed this task by speaking directly to the subjects of the request. Again, no paperwork exists and therefore, this request is denied.
