Dear Berkeley Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
1. A copy of policies and/or procedures regulating the Mayor Carmen Amato Facebook page any and all Town’s policies regarding the maintenance and/or content retention of Town maintained social media forum.
2. List(s) of names of people who are/were hidden , blocked, banned from the Mayor Carmen Amato Facebook page.
3. List(s) of any deleted, hidden, blocked, banned comments that were on the Mayor Carmen Amato Facebook page for the time period of Jan. 1, 2018 - including today, Jan. 18, 2019.
4. List(s) of authors’ names of any deleted, hidden, blocked, banned comments that were on the Mayor Carmen Amato Facebook page for the time period of Jan. 1, 2018 - including today, Jan. 18, 2019.
5. Copies of all messages and author’s names sent via the Mayor Carmen Amato Facebook messenger and responses for the time period of Jan. 1, 2018 - including today, Jan. 18, 2019.
6. Name and title/position of the Town employee(s) responsible for maintaining any and all Town social media forums.
7. Any emails sent to/from the employee(s) in question regarding the deleting/removing of content, or the limiting of access to content on any and all social media forums for the time period of Jan. 1, 2018 - including today, Jan. 18, 2019.
8. Copies of all posts made and deleted on the Mayor Carmen Amato Facebook page for the time period of Jan. 1, 2018 - including today, Jan. 18, 2019.

Can you clarify what the difference is between these two pages?
This one specifically says "Mayor":
https://www.facebook.com/mayorcarmen.amato
which would lead one to believe it is an "official" page whereas this page:
https://www.facebook.com/carmen.amato.31
could be a "personal" page.

Anyone can name their facebook page whatever they want. Just because someone puts a title on a page such as "Mayor" that does not mean it is owned or maintained by the Municipal Corporation and therefore it is t not subject to OPRA as defined by N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1. Generally stated, a “government record” means any record that has been made, maintained, or kept on file in the course of official business, or that has been received in the course of official business.
Neither one of those pages is maintained by the Municipality in the course of official business.
