Currently, your request is overly broad and/or unclear. When a request for records is overly broad or unclear, a custodian may deny access pursuant to the following court decisions: MAG Entertainment, LLC v. Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, 375 N.J.Super. 534 (App. Div. 2005). A proper request under OPRA must identify with reasonable clarity those documents sought. A custodian is obligated to search and a find the identifiable government records listed in the Complainant's OPRA request. A custodian is not required to search her files to figure out which records, if any, might be responsive to a broad and unclear OPRA request.

Please clarify if you are requesting "to AND from" just the [email address], or include the [email address]. The seven (7) business day deadline to respond to you request begins the day after said clarification is received.
