Map and addresses of the 83.6 acres proposed redevelopment site

The request was successful.

Dear South Plainfield Borough,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

Please provide a map and the addresses of the properties included in the proposed 84 acres redevelopment zone referred to on the arrival below. Please provide any docs, resolutions, maps relating to this matter:

“ targeted property makes up 83.6 acres from multiple parcels, identified only by block and lot numbers, which the borough's tax map indicates are mostly around New Market Avenue, not far from the Piscataway border. Aerial maps appear to show some industrial businesses and a few homes in the area.

A resolution unanimously passed by the Borough Council last April authorizes and directs the Planning Board to investigation and make recommendations to the Council as part of a non-condemnation redevelopment area report and a map depicting the boundaries and parcels in the redevelopment area.
