All time sheets and records of money spent to put the mandatory summary reports on the police website, as ordered in may 2018 and after the 60 day time frame given by the states commanding law enforcement officer to be in compliance to this clear order. https://www.howellpolice.org/

You are saying that public funds public employees are not maintaining the police departments Facebook page? Time sheets money spent on government function are absoluty clearly public records. How can these records not exist?

The Police Departments response pertains to the fact that no, they do not have a specific line item cost/salary pertaining to any public employee which would be indicative of solely maintaining our Facebook page. To provide the yearly salary of any public employee dealing with the page in any capacity would be an inaccurate depiction and response to this request. OPRA provides guidelines for providing records maintained by a government entity, which are deemed releasable. It does not authorize or recommend research expeditions to produce information not already generated and maintained.
