List of Properties Fitting the Following Criteria
Dear East Orange City,
- A list of property addresses that, as of today, have delinquent property taxes and open property liens. This list needs to include amounts of balances owed.
-Detailed Lien Status Report
-All properties that had any utilities shut off.
-Properties that have entered/completed the probate process
-A list of property addresses that have received any code violations since the beginning of the year. Please provide the type of violation. (Including Vacant Property)
-A list of all residential property addresses that are currently vacant or abandoned.
-A list of all residential property addresses that are condemned
-A list of All Properties without a current city certificate of occupancy
I only need the property addresses. Please put all lists in separate Excel files. PDF is okay too. If up-to-date data is not available, please provide the most recently available information.

1. There is no list of tax liens on file. Tax lien information is
property of the tax collector. If you have a specific property
address, you may contact her office at 973.266.5130. A fee applies
for each property address.
-Detailed Lien Status Report

3. Your request is too broad. Do you have a specific timeframe in mind?
Please advise of the requested timeframe and I will forward your
request to the Water Department for a response.

4. That information is not kept on file with the City of East Orange.
-A list of property addresses that have received any code violations since
the beginning of the year. Please provide the type of violation.

5. There is no such list on file. Please be advised that the Code
Enforcement documentation (permits, violations, certificates,
inspection dates and results, complaints, etc.) is readily accessible
on the City’s website [3]www.eastorange-nj.gov. Click on the
circular blue link “Open Data” and create an account using an email
address and password of your choosing. It is very helpful if you do
an advanced search and provide the block and lot. Then you may search
the portal which is up-to-date and in real time. It is also good for
other towns and states that utilize the SDL portal. Any questions you
have regarding the information may be posed to the Code Enforcement
Division at 973.266.5165 OR 973.266.5320.
-A list of all residential property addresses that are currently vacant or
abandoned.
