Dear Fair Lawn Borough,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
- A list of all property addresses that have an unpaid property tax bill. Please also include in the list or separately a list of properties whose property tax bill was liened against the property.
- A list of all property addresses that have had their water bill liened against the property, have failed to pay their water bill, or have had the water shut off at any point.

Hello Nathan:
I am contacting you seeking a clarification for the records you request
through OPRA:
“Records requested:
- A list of all property addresses that have an unpaid property tax bill.

In regards to the above, we are seeking a time period for:
“a list of properties whose property tax bill was liened against the
property”
and
“A list of all property addresses that have had their water bill liened

water bill, or have had the water shut off at any point”
At this time, we are also seeking an extension due to staffing shortage in
the respective office completing your request and as a time buffer for you
to respond to the clarification.
