Under OPRA, for 408 Vannote Place, Brick, NJ 08723, please provide the following records for March 7, 2026 and March 11, 2026:
1. Any CAD logs, dispatch entries, or calls-for-service records for police responses to that address on those dates.
2. Any incident report, police report, or investigation report cover sheet concerning those responses.
3. Any arrest report, complaint-summons, complaint-warrant, booking sheet, or other record sufficient to show whether anyone was arrested or charged in connection with those responses.
4. Records sufficient to identify the incident number(s), date/time of response, and disposition for each response.
If any responsive record is held by another agency, please identify that agency or forward the request as appropriate. If any portion is withheld or redacted, please provide the non-exempt portions and the legal basis for each withholding.

I have received your OPRA request. You may not be aware, but the NJ OPRA law has changed as of 09/03/2024.
One of the changes is what is required in the request. Though you still do not have to use the OPRA official request form, you must have all of the required components, including the following:

N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 (Legislative Findings)1) Privacy Interest - “a public agency has a responsibility and an obligation to safeguard from public access a citizen's personal information with which it has been entrusted when disclosure thereof would violate the citizen's reasonable expectation of privacy.” See Burnett v. Cnty. of Bergen, 198 N.J. 408 (2009).
b. N.J.S.A 47:1A-1.1 Interagency or intra agency advisory, consultative or deliberate materials
2. Incident/Police/Invest report- Exempt under OPRA citing: N.J.S.A 47:1A-1.1 Criminal Investigatory Records – records which are no required by law to be made, maintained or kept on file that are held by law enforcement agency which pertain to any criminal investigation or related civil enforcement proceeding. (Note: N.J.S.A 47:1A-3b lists specific criminal investigatory information which must be disclosed).
