Dear Mr. Alberdi,
On May 15, 2024, two (2) days after you submitted your OPRA request, the
City responded asking for clarification as to the resolution from what
board you are referring to. However, when retyping the OPRA machine email
address, there was a typo and you therefore did not get our email and we
did not get a bounce back notification so we assumed our message was
received. That correspondence is attached and you will see the inadvertent
mistake in the email address.
The City of Elizabeth has several boards and commissions and the City
Clerk's office does not have instant access to resolutions from these
boards, which was why clarification was sought. However, given the delay
accidentally caused on our part, we are reaching out now to various boards
in order to get the appropriate record to you today.
I apologize for the inconvenience caused by this error. Regarding internal
review, you may reach out to the Law Department at (908) 820-4003 for
information regarding appeal procedures if you feel that your request has
not been properly satisfied.
