Dear Howell Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Request pertains to former Councilman Fred Gasior's township issued cell phone between 1/1/2023 and 12/31/2025
-Township issued cell phone number
-Dates phone was issued by and returned to township
-Dates phone was reset and/or content erased
-Phone call logs from 1/1/2025 to 12/31/2025
-Text message logs from 1/1/2025 to 12/31/2025
- Was phone reset to factory settings and content erased prior to being returned to township

In response to your OPRA request 26-0155, attached are the papers signed when the phone was originally picked up and then returned to the Township.
As the phone was wiped when returned no phone/email logs are available.
As the remaining items are requests for information and not for specific records those items have been denied as OPRA is to be used to request specific documents.
This request is complete.
