Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

The records requested are a supplemental request to my prior OPRA request concerning vehicle usage. The Authority’s response included the vehicle policy, fuel and E-ZPass records but did not provide responsive documents to the following items from my original request:

1. Any board resolutions, board minutes excerpts, memoranda, or other documents reflecting Board approval or discussion of take-home vehicle use, vehicle assignments to Executive Director or senior staff.

2. Any employment agreements, contract provisions, amendments, or compensation-related documents that address vehicle use, take-home privileges, or transportation benefits for the Executive Director or senior staff.

3. Any written permissions, authorizations, or approvals (including any from the Board, Board Chair, or other supervisor) allowing the Executive Director or senior staff to take an Authority-owned vehicle home.

Additional Records Requested:

4. Any records showing which employees are currently assigned take-home vehicles, including (but not limited to) the Executive Director, foremen and any mechanics or other staff.

5. Any documents reflecting whether the onsite mechanic is classified as “senior staff” or otherwise eligible for take-home vehicle privileges under Authority policy.

Please provide all responsive records from January 1, 2025 through the present.

If any portion of this request is denied, please provide a detailed written explanation including the specific legal basis for the denial.
