I am following up with you to determine which of your document requests
are still open.  As you are surely aware, OPRA is for obtaining public
documents.  Sometimes there may be questions about MCMJIF activities for
which there is no responsive document.  In that case, the Fund’s response
should be “no responsive document exists.”  Sometimes, if you ask a
question that does not implicate a document, we may be able to provide a
response even though you have not really asked for an identifiable
document.

With this in mind, here a follow up response in attempt to identify any
documents you have requested but not received so that they may be provided
expeditiously.

1.               Audio or video recordings of the 2024 Meetings.  My
understanding is that you have received the audio recording of all of the
meetings you requested.  I can advise you that there is no responsive
document to your request for the recording of the February meeting after
the Commissioners came out of closed session.  As for the video
recordings, they are being processed; I expect that they will be available
on or before December 3.    

2.              Claims reports.  These documents are no longer created
and, thus, there are no current documents responsive to this request.  As
for the claims reports for January 1, 2023 to present that do exist, they
are attached to this message.  The names of individual claimants have been
redacted to protect their privacy because of the potential to disclose
personal health information.  

3.              Documentation of actions taken at the February 28, 2024
meeting.  A copy of the minutes from the February 28, 2024 meeting is
being provided with the email response.  Additionally, the minutes of many
of the Fund’s meeting are posted on its website.  There are no other
documents responsive to your request.

4.              Documents provided by the Executive Director in response
to the RFP for an Executive Director.  The proposal is attached to this
message.

Except for the video recordings of the meetings, please advise by reply
email of any other OPRA requests that are open.
