EMS in Wall Twp
Dear Monmouth County Sheriff's Office,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
- All correspondence related to shutting down Wall Township Police EMS to turn over to Monmouth County EMS/ Medstar program.
- All executed agreements between Monmouth County/ Monmouth County Sheriffs Office and Wall Township Township Committee and Business Administrator John Tobia related to turning EMS over to the county program.
- All proposed agreements between Monmouth County/ Monmouth County Sheriffs Office and Wall Township Township.
- Notices of notification and dates which Monmouth County EMS employees received notification that the EMS division for Wall Township Police would be terminated.

interests of the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office in response to your
emailed OPRA request of November 15, 2025 @ 5:14 pm, a copy of which
appears below. As the same was sent after hours, it was not received by
the Custodian unto November 17, 2025. Attached please find the MCSO’s
response to said request.
