I am writing to request an internal review of Irvington Township's handling of my OPRA request 'Corby, Karson, Name/title/position'.
You still have not provided the payroll record, the reason for separation, or the amount and type of any pension received for Maurice Gattison and Tanisha Little.
This question of what a payroll record is was answered by the Government Records Council (GRC), the State agency charged with enforcing OPRA, in the case of Gregory Havlusch, Jr. v. Borough of Allenhurst (Monmouth), Government Records Council Complaint No. 2011-243. In that case, the GRC’s Executive Director opined (see pp 3 to 5 of the December 18, 2012 Findings and Recommendations of the Executive Director) that “an employee’s payroll records should include information that will allow a person to determine whether an employee took a leave of absence, the dates of the leave, whether it was paid, and if so, the amount of salary received for the paid leave of absence.”

1. I specified in regards to payment vouchers that I was requesting a check stub or electronic payment receipt. You have noted check numbers. Per my request, please provide copies of those checks.
2. To clarify my request for The name, title, position, salary, payroll record, length of service, date of separation and the reason therefor, and the amount and type of any pension received for Maurice Gattison and Tanisha Little:
a. Please provide the CURRENT title, position, and salary AND the title, position, and salary at the time of the end of their employment, if applicable.
b. I have not received any payroll record.
