Dear Sgt. M. Trover,
In criminal justice, clearance rate is calculated by dividing the number of crimes that are "cleared" (a charge being laid) by the total number of crimes recorded. Clearance rates are used by various groups as a measure of crimes solved by the police.
Yours sincerely,
Anonymous
Dear Anonymous,
We have no records responsive to your request. We do not track clearance rates during our normal course of business and under OPRA, we are not required to create a custom record. If you have an inquiry about a specific crime, you may submit a request for the clearance rate of that crime and the information will be provided to you.
Thank you,
Sgt. Trover
