Dear Clark Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

The Township of Clark received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request on July 7, 2025. The official Records Custodian, Edith Merkel, received your OPRA request on July 7, 2025. As such, the seven (7) business day deadline to respond to your request is July 14, 2025. The Township does not maintain records responsive to your request. Chapter 48 is a state maintain record.

Dear Ms. Merkel Clerk's Dept.,

I just want to be clear that it is the town's statement that they do not maintain records of documents that are mandated to be completed and sent to the NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits? Specifically document HR-0426-0525 as shown in the NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits website ( https://www.nj.gov/treasury/pensions/doc... ).

Chapter 48 as Amended under Section 7 of P.L. 1964, c.125 (C.52:14-17.38) attached for further reference.
