In regards to your recently submitted OPRA request attached please find the documents you requested from our Housing Bureau, please be advised our Building Bureau had no documents to provide. In addition, please note that redactions have occurred to the attached documentation.
REASONS FOR REDACTIONS :
While the City strives to be transparent in responding to OPRA requests, Daniel's Law cannot be ignored. Thus, to avoid a violation of Daniels' Law, even an unintentional violation, the City has determined that it will not be releasing the names and addresses of individual owners pending further guidance on Daniel's Law. Such personal information is being removed or redacted from records going forward. Since the removal and/or redaction only applies to the release of personal information [names and addresses], if the name of the owner and the address of a property is listed under a partnership, corporation etc., removal or redaction of that information is not necessary
