The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office is in receipt of the below public record request. Under normal circumstances, our response would be due tomorrow, July 9, 2020. N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5i(1). Because of the present state of emergency, however, the 7-business day deadline is relaxed. N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5i(2).
My search has disclosed that neither a CAD nor Arrest Report is electronically available in Case 18-3777. That may be because the records do not exist, or it may be because they have not been uploaded into the system. We will have to locate and search the paper file to determine whether we have those records to provide. Manually searching for records has become more difficult as we operate with reduced and rotating staffing due to the pandemic.
For these reasons, I unfortunately will not be able to respond to your record request by July 9, 2020. I anticipate being able to locate and provide the records that we have no later than Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

Request for police incident reports is denied under the "criminal
investigatory records" exception to OPRA. N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1; see North
Jersey Media Group, Inc. v. Township of Lyndhurst, 229 N.J. 541, 569
(2017) (investigative reports and witness statements about criminal
incident "fall within the 'criminal investigatory exception'"); Serrano v.
South Brunswick Twp, 358 N.J. Super. 356-57, 360, 370 (App. Div. 2003)
(affirming dismissal of portion of complaint regarding non-disclosure of
police and EMT reports, on the ground such documents were "criminal
investigatory records").
