Calendar Year 2026 Transitional Aid Application - Jersey City
Dear New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Local Government Services,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
A copy of the Calendar Year 2026 Transitional Aid Application submitted by the City of Jersey City to the Division of Local Government Services, as authorized by Jersey City Resolution 26-093 (approved Feb 25, 2026). I am requesting the full application, including all required supporting financial documentation and exhibits.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

I received the PDF of the application itself, but I am unable to access the MoveIt packages containing the supporting documentation. The login credentials are not working for my account.
Could you please resend the supporting documents directly as email attachments, or provide new MoveIt access credentials to [email address]?

Thank you. I only used one email address for this request, and that email address does not work as the MoveIT username.
Because the public OPRAmachine page masks the username, I cannot verify what username was actually assigned to the temporary MoveIT account. At this point, it appears the account may have been set up with a different username or there may be a configuration issue.
Could you please provide the exact username associated with the MoveIT package, or resend the supporting documents directly as email attachments?

The files are too large to be sent through regular email.
Is there an alternative email address I can send them to through MoveIT? Maybe you could even make a brand new gmail account that I could send them to? I think that may be the quickest and easiest way to receive the records.
