Good Morning,

Building plans are not considered government records subject to public access pursuant to NJSA 47:1A-1 et esq. They may be attainable under common law if the requestor has a legally recognized interest in the subject matter contained in the material, then the material must be disclosed if the individual's right of access outweighs the Townships interest in preventing disclosure. Attached is an OPRA request form, refer to page 4 for requests for records under the common law.
