Pursuant to the Open Public Records Act (OPRA), I respectfully request access to the following records for the property located at 11 Plainfield Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840:

Copies of all building permits issued.

Copies of any inspection reports associated with these permits, particularly relating to electrical work or major system renovations.

Copies of any Certificates of Occupancy (CO) or Certificates of Approval issued for the property.

Records of any open or unresolved permits on file.

I am the prospective buyer of this property and am seeking to verify the status of permits and compliance, particularly in relation to recent renovations and possible electrical work, prior to closing.

I also prefer for the document to be sent here in OPRA not in my email.

Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Dear Jill Covey,

Thank you for providing the information in response to my OPRA request.

Could you please confirm whether permit 24-0743 and its related sub-permits—24-0743+A (addition of shower and exhaust fan) and 24-0743+D (built-up beam on the first floor)—have been approved by the inspector?

At this stage, I am not asking whether the permits are officially closed. I’m specifically looking to confirm if all of the above permits have received inspection approval.
