Bodycam Footage

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, New Jersey State Police should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear New Jersey State Police,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:
This law firm has been retained by Citizens United Reciprocal Exchange ("CURE") with regard to a motor vehicle accident which occurred on January 10, 2026.

On said date, our insured's vehicle was involved in a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of the Garden State Parkway South, Mile Post 88.5 (Lakewood Township Ocean County NJ (Case No. D060202600028C & Case No. D060202600027C). According to the police report the reporting officer was Officer Robert Parlow Badge # 8645

CURE respectfully requests that you preserve and maintain the bodycam footage and that a copy be provided to CURE. Failure to preserve this evidence may result in court action seeking damages.
