Body Cam footage from the officer on the scene of this accident in Lakewood

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, New Jersey State Police should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear New Jersey State Police,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

Please be advised that this firm has been retained by Citizens United
Reciprocal Exchange (CURE) with regard to a motor vehicle accident which
occurred on January 10, 2026 at approximately 5:48 a.m. Wherein our
insured’s vehicle was involved in a motor vehicle accident with another
vehicle (Case No.: D060202600028C). According to the police report (which can
be provided upon request), the reporting officer was Police Officer, Robert Parlow,
Badge #8645. CURE respectfully requests that you maintain the
body cam footage from the reporting officer at the scene and that same be provided to CURE. Please advise if there is any cost associated with obtaining this video. Failure
to preserve this evidence may result in a court action seeking damages.
