In response to your OPRA request made to the County of Gloucester dated August 3, 2021 seeking the following certain information regarding “body cam” inventory/use by Gloucester County Sheriff Department; please be advised that this request asks questions and fails to identify with reasonable clarity the specific government record sought. OPRA requires a party requesting access to a public record to specifically describe the document sought, and does not require records custodians to perform research in order to determine what records may be responsive to the request. See Bart v. Passaic County Public Housing Agency, 406 N.J. Super. 445 (App. Div. 2009); Bent v. Stafford Police Department, 381 N.J. Super. 30 (App. Div. 2005; MAG Entertainment, LLC v. Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, 375 N.J. Super. 534 (App. Div. 2005). Accordingly, I regret to inform you that your request cannot be fulfilled at this time.
