Good Morning,
As the official Records Custodian, I received your OPRA request on
September 5, 2023. As such, the seven (7) business day deadline to
respond to your request is September 14, 2023. This response to your
request is being provided to you on the 5th business day after the
custodian’s receipt of said request.
Your OPRA request sought access to the following:
· Final and complied bid tabulation and bid tally sheets including
all quantities and unit pricing for each bidder for Humphrey’s Avenue
Bulkhead and Reconstruction
Please note that the bid opening was handled in house and not by our
Engineer’s office, therefore in regards to the type of record I normally
send you for these types of request, such a record does not exist. I am
attaching the bid results sheet that we used at the bid opening and the
resolution that awarded the contract.
What I can do is go through all of the bids submitted and scan the
proposal page. Can you please confirm that you would like this done for
all seven (7) bids submitted? Or would you only like certain ones
(example: 3 lowest bid submitted). Please let me know as soon as
possible so I can complete your request.
If your request for access to a government record has been denied or
unfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a
right to challenge the decision by the [insert name of agency] to deny
access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the
Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government
Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.
