To Whom It May Concern,

This will serve as confirmation of receipt of your recent OPRA request. Please use the township assigned number above on all correspondence regarding it.

Effective September 3rd, 2024, new legislation has been enacted that all OPRA requests must include certifications as to whether the requestor was ever convicted of an indictable offense and whether the request is for a commercial purpose and finally, the requestor must also certify whether the record sought are in connection with a legal proceeding. Commercial requestor is defined as "the direct or indirect use of any part of a government record for sale, resale, solicitation, rent or lease of a service or any use by which the user expects a profit either through commission, salary or fee (Does not include news media, educational or government institution, labor organization, non-profit organization or candidate for election.)

Please update your request with the above said information for the township to begin processing or you may prefer to use the updated OPRA request form for provide the information needed for processing (attached). Updated request must be received by Thursday, September 19th or the request will automatically close due to lack of response from requestor.
