Basic Employee Information

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Ocean County College should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

Records requested:

1. Please provide documents/lists (via Excel if possible) with the following information: The name, title, department and hire date for all salaried and hourly employees currently employed by Ocean County College.

2. Please provide documents/lists (via Excel if possible) with the following information: The name, title, department, hire date and termination date for all salaried and hourly employees with termination dates between 1/1/95-9/14/20.

Thank you for reaching out. I apologize, as your request got lost in the shuffle of working remotely.

Please accept this email as receipt of your email dated September 13, 2020 seeking certain records under the Open Public Records Act. Public Law 2020 c. 20 provides that during a period declared pursuant to the laws of this State as a state of emergency, public health emergency, or state of local disaster emergency, the deadlines by which to respond to a request for, or grant or deny access to, a government record under the Open Public Records Act shall not apply.

Ocean Count College is currently operating remotely and does not have access to the equipment to fulfill your request. The College is currently a remote testing center for the COVID 19 pandemic and the personnel cannot access certain areas of the College for health and safety reasons.

When the State of Emergency is lifted and employees are physically back on campus, you may resubmit your request.
