Bamboo / Vegetation Enforcement & 2019 Violation Records
Dear Brick Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Dear Jessica Larney,
Good Morning,
I acknowledge receipt of the records provided in response to my OPRA request regarding 221 Cherry Quay Road.
After reviewing the documents, it appears that additional responsive records may exist that were not included in the response.
Specifically, the materials provided indicate that a violation issued in 2019 was later marked as “closed” and internally described as having been “signed off” by the Township. However, the response did not include any records identifying:
* the individual who authorized or approved the closure of the violation;
* the date and basis for that determination;
* any inspection reports, notes, or supporting documentation reflecting that the violation had been abated.
Additionally, the internal correspondence provided references a prior statement that “no records” existed related to this address, which appears inconsistent with the records now produced.
Accordingly, I request that any records reflecting the inspection, review, approval, or authorization of the closure of Violation # CVIO-19-01718 be provided.
If no such records exist, please provide written confirmation of that fact.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Yours sincerely,
Steven Miller
