In response to your OPRA request received in July 27, 2023:

-Review and recommendation of the Sayreville Planning Board pursuant to
NJSA 40:55D-31 for the Samsel UES parking lot expansion

The Board of Education (“BOE”) does not possess any such document.  The
project was submitted to the Planning Board in March 2023, and the
required 45-day review period elapsed without the BOE having received any
written recommendation.  The BOE is unaware as to whether the Planning
Board possesses such a document, but the BOE has no authority over the
Planning Board.

-Review, recommendation and reports of the Sayreville Borough Engineer for
the Samsel UES parking lot expansion

The BOE does not possess any such document.  The BOE is unaware as to
whether the Borough Engineer possesses such a document, but the BOE has no
authority over the Borough Engineer.

-Review, recommendation and reports of the Middlesex County Planning Board
for the Samsel UES parking lot expansion

The BOE does not possess any such document.  The BOE is unaware as to
whether the Middlesex County Planning Board possesses such a document, but
the BOE has no authority over the Middlesex County Planning Board.

-Copies of permits from the Borough of Sayreville Construction Department
and/or Electrical Inspector for the Samsel UES parking lot expansion

The BOE does not possess copies of the permits, which were applied for by
the contractor who was advised a permit was not required.

-Review, recommendation, reports and approval of the Freehold Soil
Conservation District for the Samsel UES parking lot expansion

Letters from the Freehold Soil Conservation District dated May 22, 2023
and June 1, 2023, are being provided in response to this request. The BOE
is not in possession of any other documents responsive to this request.

-Proof that the Township of Old Bridge  and property owners within 200
feet of the Samesl School were properly notified of the Samsel UES parking
lot expansion

No such records exist.  The BOE is not legally required to provide any
such notices.

-A project description of the Samsel UES parking lot expansion

A copy of the scope of work letter for the project is being provided in
response to this request

-Any documentation that the Sayreville Board of Education is not subject
to the review, recommendation, reports or permits mentioned above.

This request is overly broad as it fails to identify a specific record
that can be produced pursuant to OPRA.  Public agencies are not required
to conduct research in order to respond to requests, nor are they required
to respond to requests for “any” or “all” documents regarding specified
subjects.  Accordingly, this request is denied.

As the records above are being provided to you in an electronic format
only, there is no charge associated with your request.  This email and the
attached documents constitute a full and complete response to your OPRA
request and therefore, your OPRA request is closed.
