Request before I begin reviewing files. Is it correct to say you are seeking all tort claim notices received by Maple

I am in receipt of your March 30, 2023, OPRA request which sought:

ALL TORT CLAIM NOTICES AND SETTLEMENT AGREEMENTS FROM 2006 - 2018.

On March 31, 2023, I sent you a request for clarification. You confirmed that you were seeking all tort Claim notices received by Maple Shade Township from 2006-2018 and that you were seeking all Settlement agreements, not just those resulting from tort claims against the Township.

The Township Responds as follows:

1. Tort Claim notices. Attached, please find tort claim notices for the requested period redacted as noted.

2. With regard to your request for settlement agreements from 2006-2018, there are no documents responsive to
Your request.

If your request for access to a government record has been denied or unfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a right to challenge the decision by the Township of Maple Shade to deny access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form, by mailing to P.O. Box 819, Trenton, NJ, 08625, or at their web site at www.state.nj.us/grc. The GRC can also answer other questions about the law. All questions regarding complaints filed in Superior Court should be directed to the Court Clerk in your County.
