Hi Jack,
My understanding from the last time Mr. Duff came before Council is that Council agreed to place a plaque on the site and you were getting permission from the State.
I am not really sure why Mr. Duff is still involved in the process at this point nor would I classify a plaque as a monument.
I feel very uncomfortable with a member of the public making commitments and getting approvals from the State on behalf of the Township.
If any other members of Council remember something different please chime in and correct me.

I just got word from John Sullivan at the New Jersey Department of Transportation. He says everybody signed off and now they're going do an appraisal on the land. I may have a company willing to donate some money for the monument if needed.
