I am expecting anywhere from 10-25 people will be attending. No roads nor shoulders will be blocked and no deviation from normal traffic patterns will be needed. The area being used is the area formerly leased by the Moorestown Pub and it does not require the use of roadways nor shoulders be blocked so a permit should not be required. I will be contacting Rita's water ice to ask if we may use a portion of their lot and also requesting people park in the municipal lot you spoke of before anyone parks in Rita's.

We held an event at the same location in January with about 7 people that went off without a hitch. If you believe a permit is still needed please let me know ASAP and I will apply for one. I look for way to working with you all to make this a safe and successful event.

Thanks,

Patrick Duff

Mr. Duff and Ms. Carson,

I have been assigned by Chief Gubbei to work with you for the upcoming event. I look forward to helping you with coordinating this however there are some hurdles that need to be crossed prior to it. The area where the event is being held is owned by NJ Department of Transportation. They require a permit for an event such as this.

I made contact with Paul "Doug" Menz from NJDOT South Region - permit office and briefed him on the event. His phone number is 856-486-6756 and his email is listed in this chain. Please note that attached to this email is the permit application form. Doug is willing to help however you must act quickly due to the limited time we have. The approval from DOT is a must.

To avoid any issues with parking can you please provide an estimate of people or groups that have confirmed they are coming to the event. There is a municipal parking lot very close to the area with an esitmated twenty or so spaces. With the traffic signal system at the location, guests can use the crosswalks which will provide for safe crossing. There is a larger parking lot in the Dunkin Donuts that may accomodate more guests. Please note that any private parking areas such as that requires some sort of approval from the property owner.

The grass area on the other side of the ramp is private property and is restricted from parking.

Street parking on the state highway or the areas around the overpass is prohibited.

If you feel that this going to be a well attended event you must advise the DOT immediately so that accomodations can be made.

Please note that several agencies are in this email chain so please reply all, so that we can keep everyone in the loop to get this done as quickly as possibe.

Respectfully,

Ptl Davis

Officer Davis,

If someone wants to occupy NJDOT Right of Way, he\she will need to apply for a highway occupancy permit. If any lanes\shoulders\ramps are going to be closed, the applicant needs to apply for it. . . and the NDOT will look into the request. There is no guarantee that the applicant will receive permission.

If you need any information, do not hesitate to contact me. . .Thanks
