The attached documents contain the answers to your questions. The first attachment is the ordinance delineating and outlining the responsibilities of the Affirmative Action Officer. The second attachment is the agenda showing the current appointment and the third attachment is the agenda showing the initial appointment. The Affirmative Action Officer is Donna Mazzucco. She is also a full time confidential secretary with responsibilities for HR and Affirmative Action. She does not receive additional compensation for her duties as Affirmative Action Officer. Her immediate supervisor is James Ulrich, Business Administrator.

The Township of Clark received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request (email inbox 10:29 pm) on January 12, 2022. The official Records Custodian, Edith Merkel, received your OPRA request on January 13, 2022. As such, the seven (7) business day deadline to respond to your request is January 25, 2022. This response to your request is being provided to you on the same business day as the custodian’s receipt of said request.

If your request for access to a government record has been denied or unfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a right to challenge the decision by the Township of Clark to deny access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.
