Addresses with water-shut off
Dear Jackson MUA,
I am requesting a list of current addresses within the town/city that have had their water shut off within the past three months (September 1st - December 1st) of 2019.
My understanding is that the town/city is responsible for the turning on/off of the water supply to each address within it's legal boundaries. According to the NJ Utilities Code, the addresses of said properties are public information and can be provided upon notice via an Open Public Records Request (OPRA).
Please share the information in the following format:
Date, Mailing Address
i.e. (11/01/2019, 34 Main Street Rockaway NJ 07866)

Dear Emanuelle,
I have received your request and will respond accordingly. I am going to ask that you complete page one of the attached OPRA Form. Not required but we ask as a courtesy for record keeping.
Can you be more specific as the Jackson Township MUA does not shut off water services due to non-payment. These cases would go to the Township Tax Lien process. Please advise.

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. While I would rather be helpful and fill out the form, I cannot attach correspondence to this email.
I am requesting all the records of addresses that had water turned off at their address for any reason between the dates stated in my original request.

403 Bartley Road
Please note none of these properties have had water shut off due to non-payment. The Jackson Township MUA does not shut off water for non-payment and in this case would go to the Township of Jackson's Tax Lien process.
