With regards to the listing of Megan's Law offenders - The Eatontown Police Department does not maintain a list of Sex Offenders located within a ten mile radius of the property therefore no records responsive your request exists. N.J.S.A. 2C:7-1 et seq. commonly known as Megan’s Law provides for a state registry maintained by the Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police of sex offenders as well as an internet website registry and community notification procedure, which mandates County Prosecutors to place offenders into one of three categories which are distinguished by the level of risk of re-offense by the offender.
