You have not used the approved form for your OPRA request. While this is not required you have also failed to provide all of the required information which is also not required but your failure to do so will prevent you from filing any complaint regarding the response you receive.

Please also note that your request lacks specificity. OPRA does not require the township to conduct research nor does it require unbridled searches of our file. For items 3, and 4, you need to tell us what records you are requesting, we are not going to search through all of our files looking for documents related to the subject property nor are we required to do so.

Please also note that surveys are only submitted as part of a zoning permit application and you have not provided any information related to when a survey would have been submitted. Please indicate when the survey was submitted. We are not required to look through all of our files to try to find if any has such a survey. Please note, our records are not stored by lot and block.

For permits, its not the record's custodians job to determine which permits are open and closed. Because you asked for both open and closed, you are really asking for all permits which is not an appropriate OPRA request. You need to tell us the type of permit, the work permitted and when it was issued. Alternatively, you can ask for a permit history report which will detail the permits issued and there status since these functions were computerized.
