2024 Public Meeting Recordings

Charlie Kratovil made this OPRA request to Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission as part of a batch sent to 25 authorities Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The authority would like to / has responded by postal mail to this request.

Dear Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested: all existing recordings of public meetings held in 2024.

My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. However, I recognize that many recordings, especially video recordings, are too large to send via email. If that is the case, I can recommend: 1) uploading the recordings to a Google Drive folder and sharing it with my Google account: ckratovil, or 2) using the free service WeTransfer to send the recordings to my email address: [email address]

I am also open to other methods, including picking up a flash drive or CD/DVD at your office, or receiving the same via US mail at our PO Box: #3180, New Brunswick, NJ 08903. Please confirm you have received this request and feel free to contact me at 732-993-9697 with any questions or to make any necessary arrangements. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Yours faithfully,

Charlie Kratovil

Dear Mr. Conoline,

At your suggestion, I took at the Commission's website and specifically the public records policy, which states "A written request to the Commission may be submitted in person, by mail, by e-mail or by facsimile."

The policy also says that a requestor "may" use the commission's official form, not that it "must" be used.

According to the OPRA, " an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request."

As such, please accept my emailed request sent yesterday as a proper records request and respond with the requested records. If you have any questions about it, please don't hesitate to call me at 732-993-9697.

Yours sincerely,

Charlie Kratovil
