Dear Perth Amboy City,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested: all existing recordings of public meetings held in 2024.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. However, I recognize that many recordings, especially video recordings, are too large to send via email. If that is the case, I can recommend: 1) uploading the recordings to a Google Drive folder and sharing it with my Google account: ckratovil, or 2) using the free service WeTransfer to send the recordings to my email address: [email address].
I am also open to other methods, including picking up a flash drive or CD/DVD at your office, or receiving the same via US mail at our PO Box: #3180, New Brunswick, NJ 08903. Please confirm you have received this request and feel free to contact me at 732-993-9697 with any questions or to make any necessary arrangements. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Your OPRA request received and processed on January 14, 2025 with a due date of January 24, 2025
will not be filled within the allotted 7 business days.
Your request requires additional research/time and will be completed on or before February 4, 2025.
Also, to complete this request multiple cd's will be needed, and the cost is $1.00 each. We will not know how many cd's used until completion.
You can also provide to our office a USB/Flash drive of 265-500gb for the recordings.
Please advise how you would like us to handle this request.

Thank you for your response. I can certainly provide a few flash drives to your office if necessary. However, it might be easier if you can just upload the recordings to this Google Drive folder: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1...
You should have received an email moments ago with permission to upload to this folder. You can upload the recordings there and just let me know when they are all there. Please advise if this will be sufficient.

Good morning Mr. Kratovil,
For security reasons, our IT department will not be able to upload the recordings to your folder. Plus, the combined file sizes of videos will be over 60 gigabytes.
Please bring or send us flash drives so that we can fulfill your request.
