Good Afternoon,
Your OPRA request requires additional time beyond the seven (7)
business days. OPRA allows custodians to seek extensions of time pursuant
to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.i. Specifically, OPRA states that, “the requestor
shall be advised by the custodian when the record can be made available.
If the record is not made available by that time, access shall be deemed
denied.”
Your request requires an extension of time until Monday, November 27th.

Attached are the documents responsive to your OPRA re: Memorial Day
Parade. Redactions have been made pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 “a public
agency has a responsibility and an obligation to safeguard from public
access a citizen's personal information with which it has been entrusted
when disclosure thereof would violate the citizen's reasonable expectation
of privacy.” One CAD report is exempt under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1 as it is a
domestic violence record and therefore is not included. Police Records
advises that there were no incident reports from the parade.
