Dear Metuchen Borough,
Under OPRA and the common law right of access, please provide copies of all candidate petitions filed with your office for the 2022 primary election. As this is an urgent matter, please provide them as soon as possible. Thank you kindly.

Please be advised 19:13-9 requires that "All petitions when filed shall be opened under proper regulations for public inspection." Please also consider that the deadline to challenge a candidate petition is April 8. This is the urgency that I was referencing in my request. When will you be able to provide copies of the petitions?

I am out of the office taking a state exam today and I am the only person
in the Clerk's office. I will provide later today if possible. If not I
will provide first thing tomorrow.
