This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
I am hereby requesting an electronic copy of all letters, summons and notices of abatement that have been issued by the zoning office for the years 2019 and 2020. I do not need a copy of the actual letter, summons or notice but am looking for information regarding the quantity, date of and subject of each.

Please be advised that a request pursuant to the Open Public
Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq. ("OPRA") must identify the
records sought with specificity. Bart v. Passaic County Pub. Hous.
Agency, 406 N.J. Super. 445, 451 (App. Div. 2009). OPRA does not
permit open-ended requests for every document an agency has on
file. Spectraserv, Inc. v. Middlesex Cnty. Utilities Auth., 416
N.J. Super. 565, 576 (App. Div. 2010). OPRA "is not intended as a
research tool litigant may use to force government officials to
identify and siphon useful information." MAG Entertainment, LLC
vs. Division of Alcohol Beverage Control, 375, N.J. Super. 534,
546 (App. Div. 2005). OPRA only allows requests for records, not
requests for information. Id. To qualify under OPRA, the request
must reasonably identify a record and not generally data,
information or statistics. Bent v. Township of Stafford Police
Dept., Custodian of Records, 381 N.J.Super. 30 (App. Div. 2005).
