William C. Iler vs. Highlands Borough | Tax Assessor | 296 Navesink Avenue Litigation and Settlement History
Dear Highlands Borough,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
All records sufficient to identify, track, resolve, or close any tax appeal, tax court matter, or assessment challenge involving William C. Iler, Bill Iler, William C. Iler, Esq., Wolff Law Firm, W. Iler, any Iler-controlled entity, or any property owned or controlled by him such as Block 118, Lot 2, for tax years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011,2012, 2013 and 2014, including but not limited to:
• tax appeal logs
• correspondence with tax counsel
• stipulations of settlement
• consent judgments
• withdrawal letters
• settlement authorizations
• assessor worksheets
• payment authorizations
• check registers
• escrow adjustments
• emails referencing disposition or resolution
• documents reflecting changes to assessed value following appeal
If no responsive settlement agreement exists, produce records reflecting the method of disposition of the appeal(s), including dismissal, withdrawal, or consent judgment. These cases are available in public dockets, but nowhere do you list a settlement as you have done with other resolutions publicly.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is with attachments and not making me login to your engine since this is supposed to be available to anyone anonymously.
Yours faithfully,
Anonymous Requestor
