These emails keep bouncing back because of their size. It looks like it's going to be three, rather than two. This is the second.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office is in receipt of the below public
record request. The deadline on this request was extended to July 16,
2020.
Our search has disclosed at least 18 cases in which one or more of the
specified defendants was prosecuted by this office as an adult.
There are four cases in which some combination of the five named
defendants has been charged by this office. Those four cases are all open
cases. I understand your public record request -- which seeks records of
the five defendants -- to be for cases in which one of the five named
defendants is jointly charged with at least one other of the named
defendants. If in fact the request is for one or more cases in which a
defendant was individually charged or charged with a different (unnamed)
person, please file another OPRA request that provides case identifiers to
assist me in understanding which specific records are requested and
providing them to you. Examples of useful case identifiers include
complaint/case/indictment number, date/municipality of arrest, nature of
offense/criminal charges, and defendant's name.
For Case Nos. 20-1454, 20-1453, and 20-1162, complaints, affidavits of
probable cause, and arrest reports are provided. Driver's license, social
security, and telephone numbers are redacted per N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.
Registration number is redacted as a "confidential personal identifier" in
accordance with R. 1:38-7(a) and N.J.S.A. 47:1A-9. These three cases are
pre-indictment; therefore, the request for indictments and final
judgments/dispositions is denied for lack of responsive records.
For Case No. 19-3927, complaints and affidavits of probable cause are
provided. The request for arrest report, indictment, and final
disposition is denied for lack of responsive records.
Mug shots are redacted or withheld as to all four cases, pursuant to
N.J.S.A. 47:1A-9 and Executive Orders 9(e) (Hughes), 69 (Whitman), and 21
(McGreevey), which apply to "Fingerprint cards, plates and photographs and
other similar criminal investigation records which are required to be
made, maintained or kept by any State or local governmental agency."
Due to the size of the files, these records are being transmitted by two
separate emails. This is the first.
This morning, I sent you three emails with attached records in reference to the below Public Record request.
Approximately 10 minutes after I sent the last one, I received emails that indicated there was a problem with your mailbox and the emails were not delivered. I cannot tell which emails went through and which did not.
You should have received four sets of documents, corresponding to cases 20-1453, 20-1454, 20-1162, and 19-3927. The attached files were labeled with those case numbers. Please advise which records you've received and which you did not, so that I can resend the ones whose transmission failed.
