Dear Ocean Township (Monmouth),
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
1) All facility use applications submitted to Ocean Township in connection with the “Community Fair & Family Day” being hosted by the “Vin Gopal Civic Association” at Joe Palaia Park on October 16, 2021;
2) Copies of any check remitted to the Township of Ocean, with account numbers redacted, in connection with any facility use application submitted in connection with the “Community Fair & Family Day” being hosted by the “Vin Gopal Civic Association” at Joe Palaia Park on October 16, 2021;
3) All e-mails received or sent by Administrator David Brown between July 1, 2021 through present containing the words “Vin”, “Gopal” or “Civic Association”
4) All e-mails exchanged between [email address] and Administrator David Brown, the Township Clerk, the Township Deputy Clerk, parks and recreation department director and/or any employee of the Township of Ocean assigned to handle applications for facilities use requests sent or receive between July 1, 2021 through present.

In response to your Open public Records Request submitted on September 30, 2021, attached please find the following:
ITEM NO. 1 Copy of the application submitted by the "Vin Gopal Civic Association" for use of Joe Palaia Park on October 16, 2021. (included with attachment concerning Item 2)
ITEM NO. 3 Emails received or sent by David Brown containing the words "Vin", "Gopal" or "Civic Association" (2 attachments)
ITEM NO. 4 Emails between the Recreation Department and/or Community Celebrations and the Vin Gopal Civic Association concerning the event at Joe Palaia Park on October 16, 2021 (included with attachment concerning Item 1)
ITEM NO. 4 Emails between [email address] and the Deputy Township Clerk. Please be advised that no other emails exist between said email and both David Brown and/or the Township Clerk.
With regards to ITEM NO. 2 of the Open Public Records Request, please be advised that the fee for the facility use has been waived. The Township has waived this fee for most, if not all, organizations that request the use of said facility.
Unless I hear otherwise, I will consider this request complete.
